Here’s Where and When To Watch Iowa’s Next Little League World Series Game
The Midwest region advances to take on the loser of Monday's game between the West and Southwest regions.
Here is today's schedule for the Little League World Series.
Sunday Recap
Midwest (Iowa) 10, Mountain (Utah) 2
Once Iowa gained three runs in the top of the first inning they never looked back, taking a 10-2 win over Utah despite a 3-hour-long rain delay that halted the action at Lamade Field.
Iowa started their victory by scoring a run on a wild pitch before Greyson Ballinger and Owen Everhart each hit a sac fly to drive in two more runs. Mason McFate then added another run in the top of the second inning with a line drive single, extending Iowa's lead to 4-0.
Utah's runs came in the bottom of the second and third innings. The team's offense was struggling as they only managed six hits through six innings.
As the third inning came around Iowa took a massive lead of 9 to 2. The team's 10th run came in the top of the sixth on an RBI single by Quinn Kettmann. 10-2 would be the final score advancing Iowa to the next round.
