Give Your Input For Davenport’s Credit Island New Nature Play Area
Davenport's Credit Island Park is getting a new nature play area. But before plans are finalized and the new play area is built, residents of Davenport have a chance to learn more about the project, see drawings, and give input about the new nature play area.
The City of Davenport and the Davenport Parks & Recreation Department are hosting a public meeting about a new nature play area. The new nature play area will be going on Davenport's Credit Island Park. Before plans are finalized to start building, city officials are inviting the public to give input about the new play area.
According to the Facebook Event Page for the meeting, city officials say about the nature play area project,
"To better fit with the nature-based look and feel of Credit Island Nature Preserve, staff has been working to develop a new nature based play area."
City officials ask residents to join them on Saturday to learn more about the nature play area project, review conceptual drawings, and provide input and thoughts about the project.
The meeting to discuss and give input about Credit Island Park's new nature play area is taking place on Saturday, March 26th. It will be held at the Roosevelt Community Center (1220 Minnie Ave). The in-person meeting begins at 10 a.m.
