After two years without a Halloween Parade, the City of Bettendorf is hoping that this year the weather and pandemic will be nice enough to let it happen. As we inch closer to Halloween, city officials in Bettendorf announced the date that residents will be able to see some spooky floats in celebration of Halloween.

On Tuesday, the City of Bettendorf announced on social media that they have a date for the 2021 Halloween Parade. If the parade happens, this will be the first time in two years since they were able to hold it.

According to our news partner, Local 4 News, the 2020 parade, like everything, was canceled due to the pandemic, and the 2019 parade was canceled due to weather.

City of Bettendorf officials say that the 2021 Halloween Parade on Saturday, October 30th, starting at 6 p.m.

The 2021 Bettendorf Halloween Parade will begin at the intersection of 23rd Street and Middle Road. It will then continue onto Spruce Hills Drive. The procession will travel to 18th Street, turn left onto 18th Street, and continuing to Middle Road. The parade will make its final turn onto Middle Road and finishing at the entrance of the Life Fitness / Splash Landing parking lot (2222 Middle Rd).

For those who want to participate in this year's parade, they can fill out entry forms which are available at City Hall (1609 State Street) or enter online at www.bettendorf.org/register and use the keyword Parade.

Along with parade information, Bettendorf city officials announced that Trick-Or-Treating in Bettendorf will be on Sunday, October 31st from 5-7:30 p.m.
