The Quad Cities local music scene continues to become stronger and stronger.  That's cause you are raising them right and getting them into music at a young age.  One of the great places to get them in, learning and performing young, is the QC Rock Academy.  And they have been around for 10 years now!  So to celebrate, they are putting on a 10th Anniversary Party.

Friday, December 10th at the Village Theater come celebrate with us seven bands and "many special guests".  Who are the special guests?  I could tell you, but then I'd have to imprison you until the show.

You won't want to miss out on this one to see:

  • Been There Done That
  • Made Ya Look
  • Crushed Monkey
  • Anthropoid
  • Company Dime
  • NoneTheLess
  • Sleepyhead

This is an all-ages event.  If you have not been to the Village Theater, it is not a large venue, so it will sell out.  Don't wait and get shut out.  Get them today right here.

We all love the bands and songs we knew when we were growing up.  They'll always be close to our hearts with memories of shows and life.  But the future of rock needs to keep growing as well.  The old rockers won't be out there forever.  The best place to support the next generation of rock stars that will be touring stadiums in decades to come is by starting with your local bands.  The QC Rock Academy is building those today right here in the Quad Cities and you have a chance to see and support them now.  See you at the 10th Anniversary Party!

Stone Temple Pilots at The Rust Belt in East Moline

Stone Temple Pilots, Tyler Bryant & The Shakedown, and The Forty Twos put on a great party for a Saturday night at The Rust Belt in East Moline. Always great to see live music with all the members of the I-Rock Hard Unit. Till the next one, enjoy these memories.
