The Awesome Queen of I-Rock Is In A Maxim Cover Girl Competition

First, Gabby took the crown at the 1st annual Mr. and Mrs. I-Rock competition to become Queen Gabby.  Now, she is looking to grace the cover of Maxim magazine.  But she needs your vote (below) and support to make it happen.

For the last 5 years, Maxim has conducted a worldwide search and competition for their "Maxim Cover Girl".  This year, the winner will be flown to France for a photoshoot in Paris, St. Tropez, and Cannes.  Plus, $25,000!

The Cover For A Cause

As Maxim holds the competition for their cover girl, they are also raising money for a great cause.  "Home For Wounded Warriors" is the foundation that is supported during the cover girl search.  The mission of HFWW is "to build and remodel handicap accessible homes to suit the individual needs of injured veterans."

Meet Quad Cities own Gabby Hendricks

If you were at the Mr. and Mrs. I-Rock competition, you already know Gabby rocks with her rock knowledge.  But, what does Gabby say about herself?

I’m brutally honest. I don’t have a filter. I get straight to the point. I can be insecure about my face and body, but I’m working on that.

Gabby says her secret talent is that she is "reasonably good at singing".  How that didn't happen at the coronation party is crazy.  She also says she can draw and her makeup skills are pretty good.

If Gabby won this year's Maxim Cover Girl she would donate some of the money to Kings Harvest Pet Rescue.  Her family rescued one of their dogs, Lady, from there.  The rest would be used to help her family and herself out if needed.
