We're taking it back to the 90s at The Rust Belt in East Moline on October 18th.  Art from Everclear is all about that nostalgia.  But it's not just the people that lived and rocked in the 90s coming to Everclear shows.  Young people who weren't even alive when Everclear had hits in 1995 are coming out to enjoy the shows.

Art thinks he knows why that is, and is perfectly ok with it, and ok with being labeled however you want to label them.

Art says "Some Nostalgia is a healthy good thing.  Connecting with things that made us feel good back in the day."

That is great for us who grew up in the 90s.  Listening to the rock, alt, and grunge scene of the 90s.  But it's more than just us showing up at the shows.

"So many young kids in their late teens to 30s are coming to the shows," says Art who told me they play all the hits and fan favorites for the fans.

Why are the younger generation discovering bands like Everclear?  Art told me "These kids have fire in their eyes and they are discovering rock and roll not just from Everclear but a lot of 90s bands are doing really well right now.  We didn't have Pro-Tools and autotune it was just straight-up rock and roll."

When you see Art and Everclear Friday, October 18th at The Rust Belt with Marcy Playground and Jimmie's Chicken Shack you're going to see the hits.  The bands understand why fans are coming to the shows.  To hear the songs they grew up with.

Maybe you'll even be able to meet Art who said he will hang around after some shows to take pics and sign autographs.  And yes, he said he has signed bottles of Everclear before.
