Amber’s Awesome Hosting Job Is Going On To Get Your Holiday Weekend Started

Who am I? I’m kind of psyching myself out a bit maybe, but that reminds me of a job interview question:) I’m a 31-year-old female,  pretty bubbly and upbeat according to those around me, I love, love music, really every genre from old school Motown records to modern-day pop, hard rock, and even some country. I love hard/alternative rock because it got me through my teenage angst years, the years that helped shaped the weirdo I am today. And I’m almost always in a nostalgic mood.

And Don’t be upset because I know they’re not exactly classified as hard rock, but my absolute favorite band would have to be Taking Back Sunday, I’ve loved them since I was 12 years old, yes, kind of emo, I know. I also love Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Rolling Stones, Otis Redding, Marvin Gaye, Incubus, Badflower, Breaking Benjamin, Shinedown, and Rage against the Machine, I honestly could keep going on and on.

The best concert I’ve ever been to, and I’m kind of cheating here because it’s the only one I’ve ever been able to attend, was a music festival a few years back in Peoria,  it was Incubus, Buckcherry, Badflower, Spirit Animal (before they changed their name to Record Heat). It was an amazing show and I couldn’t believe how awesome the live music sounded! They all really killed it!
