WATCH: Van Drives Halfway Through A Video Game Store
The video has surfaced online of the accident that shut down a video game store in Missouri.
According to ViralHog, the driver was the grandmother of someone shopping inside of the store. Something happened with the accelerator on the minivan she was driving, and it resulted in her driving backwards through the store.
"The accelerator got stuck in reverse, causing her to drive through the store, and completely destroy games and fixtures," the video's caption reads. "Everyone was okay.'
The scene looked like any other day in a video game store, until the van came through the front door backward, plowing through at least four shelves, sending video games flying all over the store.
The video contains multiple angles of the incident, one camera being placed just above the doorframe where the van plunged through.
Luckily for this guy, he was in the corner looking at something, rather than a few feet to his right.
Everyone that was in the store was luckily out of harm's way as the van plowed through, missing every single shopper and employee who was present at the time of the accident.
Two people in the back of the store were initially in the path of the van coming through the store, but they only needed to take a few steps to get out of the way.
After the van stopped, the driver looks to have thrown it in drive to pull forward towards the front of the store.
