Check Out Some Sweet Rides At The 8th Annual Cruise-In For A Cause
As summer winds down so does the chance for you to get out and enjoy checking out some of the coolest cars in the Quad Cities. This is why Sunday, September 18th, the Cruise-In For A Cause is a great way to get out and enjoy all sorts of cars for a good cause.
History of Cruise-In For A Cause
The Cruise-In was started by a group of folks after they lost their good friend Teangelo Garrard on September 20th, 2014, because of a drunk driver. Since then, the friends have got together with a wide variety of great midwest cars to remember their friend and raise money for Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
The main goal of the car show is to raise awareness in the community to prevent someone else from going through what friends and family of Teangelo has.
Cars, raffles, prizes, and awards.
The car show will host a variety of different rides from around the Quad Cities.
There will be awards for best off-road, best rat rod, best under construction, best classic, best new school...
The awards continue with the best import, best truck, best motorcycle, best special interest, best in show, and the kid's choice award!
The show is free to all spectators and is only $10 to register a vehicle. With all proceeds going to Mothers Against Drunk Driving.
Plus, there is a 50/50 raffle and door prizes. Catering from Scherer Custom Meats and music from Double H Entertainment.
