As the weather begins to change, and the football season gets into 3rd gear, it got me wondering how some of these players handle the cold. That, I didn't find out, but I did find out there have been full games played when the temperature on the field was colder than the coldest parts of Antarctica.

How an athlete can perform, drenched in sweat, when the weather is at a point where it only takes minutes to freeze your skin solid, is just beyond me.

Obviously, the coldest games took place in late December and early January during the worst months of winter, and during a lot of the playoff or championship games.
