Scott County Sheriff’s Office is Selling Their Airboat

A friend of mine was looking into buying a boat, and came across something interesting on eBay.

The Scott County Sherriff's Office has listed their 2009 18-foot 1000 Island Airboat on eBay.

Scott County has owned the airboat since 2013, and it's been run a little under 83 hours in that amount of time. The boat runs a GM Ramjet small block, with no issues reported.

The boat's auction closes Wednesday, August 11th at 8pm. Right now, there's no bids on it, and it starts at $30,000.

If you buy the boat, you get the trailer too, which is made for the boat.

Over the time they've owned the boat, they've only used it a handful of times, otherwise it's been stored in a controlled environment.

Right now, the boat has the Sheriff's Star on it, but will be removed prior to the sale. I bet if you asked nicely, they might leave that on for you.

Ghost In Our Iowa Basement?

As a radio station, we have a lot of people here who have seen some scary stuff. Do you see any ghosts in these photos? I can't, but I also don't know what to look for.

This Isn't The First Face Caught On Camera Here!

In September of 2020 the band "Pit Lord" came to the building to shoot a music video. They shot it in the basement and for a split second in the recording, you can make out a face of what looks to be a woman. You can see that video here.

With a history of ghosts, it's safe to say the basement of our building is CREEPY!
