Pleasant Valley Volleyball Brings Home State Championship

The Pleasant Valley Spartans Volleyball team took their first ever state championship yesterday.

The team faced off against the Cedar Falls Tigers at the State Championship in Cedar Rapids in a match that started at 10am. The Spartans defeated the Tigers in a 3-0 victory.

As they returned to the school, the students and faculty lined the hallways to congratulate the team and welcome them home.

On top of the championship, Halle Vice was named Best Producer/Performer in the IGHSAU 5A State Championship.

Congratulations, Spartans. You deserved this.
