Three Quad Citizens Are In The Top Five Of This National Competition

10/8 Update:  The Quad Cities is still represented strong as the group competition is now down to the top 5 in their group category.  Unfortunately, Ashley didn't move on, but, there are still 3 others you can vote on below!

What is the Face of Horror competition?

The Face of Horror is a competition that will crown a winner who will take home $13,000, get a walk-on role in an independent film, spend a 2-night stay at Buffalo Bill’s House, and be in a photo shoot with horror legend Kane Hodder for Rue Morgue Magazine.

The competition also supports the "B+ Foundation".  The foundation provides financial assistance to families, funds childhood cancer research, and brings awareness to the fight against childhood cancer.

Let's meet some of the contestants.

I'm not even going to say this is everybody from the Quad Cities...cause more than likely there are other people in town trying to win this thing.  But they didn't reach out to I-Rock 93.5.

We'll start with the original person who reached out, Amanda.

Amanda says "I'm a free spirit mama, but I consider myself to be a professional car rock star by day & a Halloween (the season) lover by night!"

Madlen McCabe.

Madlen says "I’m a 23yo horror fan and collector from the Midwest. I’m graduated, working and living my best spooky life!"

Madlen also says the way she would survive a horror film would be "Mind over matter. I am intelligent, I don’t always agree to dumb ideas, I am courageous, and I will always overcome challenges."

After talking about the new Face of Horror on I-Rock 93.5 Matthew from the Quad Cities reached out and said he was in it as well!

Matthew is US Army Medically retired, a Current John Deere Worker, and Union Rep. He is 46 years old and loves horror movies.
