It’s Time To Get Your Outstanding Quad Cities Students Some Scholarships

College is expensive.  If you have a student in or about to go to any type of college you know this and are doing everything you can to help ease the burden.  Here is one for you that can help.

The averages cost of college is about $35,000 a year.  You need a full-time job just to pay for the full-time school.  So anytime there is an entity ready to help pay for any part of that college expense, parents and their college-bound students need to be ready to take advantage.

Pepsi Community Scholarship

Pepsi-Cola of Rock Island wants to recognize the outstanding achievements of high school seniors and college undergraduates through their annual Pepsi Scholarship Fund. The purpose of the WP Beverages Pepsi Community Scholarship is to reward individuals who are passionate about creating a better future by recognizing student leadership and citizenship, as well as school and community involvement.

Five individuals throughout the area that meet the criteria will be selected by the Dickinson Community Foundation for a $1,000 one-time scholarship.  Applicant must demonstrate a history of leadership and community service and must submit an essay on leadership and/or community service.
