Olympic Skateboarder Takes a Rail To The Groin During First Run
The world watched yesterday as Olympians performed in trials, showing off their talents to find out who the best of the best are. Being internationally televised, it's easy to get nervous. Any mistake you make could be a trending hashtag within minutes.
Saturday marked the first Olympic skateboarding event. It was a huge deal, and even the godfather himself was there, overseeing the trials.
After the fall, Caro took a minute to compose himself, which led to judges giving the run a score of 1.01. Luckily, street skating is multiple trials, so he was able to come back and prove his worth.
His second run had a 6.96 score, and he was able to continue to the finals, where he finished fifth.
All things considered, he didn't have a bad placement.
