Moline is turning 150 and it's ready to celebrate with local musicians.

The city's sesquicentennial birthday will be celebrated from August 25-27 on River Drive in Downtown Moline. There will be vendors, food, and of course, live music. Here's the artist lineup:

They're still taking merchandise vendor and food vendor applications. You can apply to sell food at this link or if you have goods to sell, you can apply to be a merchandise vendor here.

Event Hours

An exact daily schedule of the event is coming out later this month but vendors have to be set up from 4:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 25th & Friday, August 26th. On Saturday, August 27th, it's from 11:00 a.m.-11:00 p.m.

One thing you can do while you're hanging out in downtown Moline is scroll through and walk the historic walking tour! You can learn some nifty facts you may not have known about Moline.

Moline's History

Moline's been around for a hot minute. Moline became a town in 1843, and got its name from 'Mill Town' or 'City of Mills'. Not long after, in1848, a young man named John Deere moved to Moline and the rest is history.
