Lost Island Could Make ‘USA Today’s Top 10 Best Outdoor Waterparks’ AGAIN Thanks To You!

Last year, Iowa's very own Lost Island Waterpark found itself on the top 10 list of 'USA Today's' best outdoor waterpark list. It looks like it is once again finding itself as a contender!

What's even cooler is that Lost Island won the top spot in 2020, and has been in the top five over the past few years. Can we get Lost Island on that list again? I think so!

How To Vote

You can vote once a day, now through April 25th. The description of Lost Island on the voting site states,

At Lost Island Waterpark in Waterloo, Iowa, park-goers can take the plunge at Lost Soul Falls, catch a wave in Tsunami Bay, float the Kailahi River, play some volleyball in Blue Iguana Lagoon or ride one of the world's only hydromagnetic water coasters, Wailua Kapua.

The Fire

It's also a great way to show our support for the park after the fire last month.

On March 10th between 7 and 8 pm, a fire that could be seen from quite the distance broke out. Spectators of the fire were quick to call the fire department. A building containing the control panel for the Flume ride was destroyed, and the roof collapsed in on itself.

Thankfully they're still on track to open this Summer.
