Jerry Cantrell
Jerry Cantrell was the founder of Alice in Chains in 1987, along with Layne Staley. Jerry was always the lead guitarist for Alice in Chains, but soon added lead vocal duties on some songs and harmonizing vocals with Layne in others.
After Layne's death in 2002, the band would take a break but come back with a new lead singer, and Jerry taking over more of the lead singer duties on new tracks and while on tour.
Jerry has also released 5 solo albums. His latest being "I Want Blood," which has produced two chart-topping hits.
When Jerry hits the road for his solo tour, he will play songs from both his solo albums and from Alice in Chains.
