The Downtown Davenport Partnership is hosting its Spooky Spectacular & Candy Crawl from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24. Families are invited to dress up, grab an event map, and explore downtown while collecting candy and checking out Halloween-themed activities along the way.

Bring Your Costume And Your Sweet Tooth

Participating downtown businesses will be handing out candy while supplies last, so you’ll want to get there early if you’re hoping to fill that trick-or-treat bag.

Along the route, families can find plenty of things to do, including face painting, balloon animals, live magic, a spooky kids walk, Halloween photo opportunities, and other kid-friendly activities.

Halloween Fun For The Grown-Ups, Too

Parents aren't getting left out of the fun.

Participating businesses will also have seasonal drink specials, Halloween-themed cocktails, trivia, shopping promotions, and other festive activities happening throughout downtown.

So while the kids are hunting for candy, adults can enjoy a little Halloween fun of their own.

How To Join The Candy Crawl

Getting started is easy. Participants can pick up an event map at any participating business and then follow the route through Downtown Davenport.

The very next day, Downtown Davenport will host its Halloween Parade at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25.

Two days of Halloween fun in downtown? Sounds like a pretty good excuse to wear that costume twice.
