Hit The Links For A Quad Cities Veterans Charity Golf Tournament
The bikers are hitting the golf course for a good cause. They need you to play and need your support before the tournament begins to help out Quad Cities Veterans.
The CVMA (Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association) 39-4 of Iowa is hosting a golf tournament on August 11th. The tournament will be at Valley Oaks Golf Club and be a great way to take out the clubs to support local veterans.
CVMA IA 39-4
CVMA is comprised of Combat Veterans from all branches of the United States Armed Forces who ride. The 39-4 chapter covers Clinton, Jackson, Muscatine, and Scott Counties in Iowa.
Over the last 5 years, CVMA 39-4 has built over 100 wheelchair ramps, 5 roof replacements, 4 bathroom remodels, and paid multiple bills for our local veterans. Throughout the year the group gets sponsors, collects donations, and hosts fundraising events to help these local veterans.
One of the big events is their annual golf tournament. Last year they raised over $4,000 with a goal this year to double that amount to $8,000. This is possible with the help and support of our community and businesses in our area.
