There have been several recalls in recent months affecting all types of vehicle brands including the Ford Explorer with parts that could fly off, to exploding airbags in some Toyota and GMC vehicles.

According to a press release from NHTSA, there's an urgent recall for owners of the Jeep Grand Cherokee because of a ball joint in a steering wheel that could result in a driver losing control.

In the story from Live Now, the recall from Chrysler affects approximately 330,000 Jeep Grand Cherokee SUVs from model year 2021 to 2023.

No crashes or injuries have happened because of this potential problem, according to a Chrysler statement, which is a subsidiary of Stellantis.

The 2021 to 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee L, and the 2022 to 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles are on the list of recalled Jeeps, but the best way to check if your vehicle is currently under any recall is to visit the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) website and enter your VIN number.
