About The New Head Coach

A Quad Cities native, Robinson brings more than 23 years of dance experience to the team, including 5 years of coaching competitive dance. Her impressive background includes founding The Dynamic Status Gems, a competitive dance academy in the heart of the Quad Cities, which she launched in 2019. Her leadership and dedication to the art of dance make her the perfect choice to guide the Deckmate Dancers this season.

When asked about her vision for the team, Robinson said, “My goal is to use our platform for positivity throughout the Quad Cities while pushing the Deckmates to perform at an even higher level. I want to give them the opportunity to do great things, both on and off the field.”

Robinson is set to revamp the Deckmate Dancers' halftime entertainment and sideline routines, infusing them with fresh energy and creativity. She also plans to increase community engagement through mentoring programs and partnerships, fostering connections with the next generation of QC youth dancers.

Destiny Brown, General Manager of the Steamwheelers, expressed her excitement for Robinson’s arrival: “We are thrilled to welcome T'Nauzhae to the Wheeler Family. She brings a fresh perspective and will continue to build on the legacy of what it means to be part of this special sQUAD.”
