Fire up the aftercare lotion and clear some space on your skin because the Davenport Tattoo Festival is roaring back into town June 19-21, 2026, and it's bringing a full-blown invasion of ink to the RiverCenter.

For three straight days, more than 200 tattoo artists from across the globe will visit Davenport, turning the Quad Cities into a tattoo-fueled playground packed with creativity, artistry, and a little bit of beautiful chaos. Whether you're looking for a tiny piece, a full sleeve, or something wild you haven't even thought of yet, you'll find artists ready to make it happen.

Ready to Get Tattooed?

Some artists are booking appointments ahead of time, so if you've been planning your next piece, now's the time to lock it in. More of a spur-of-the-moment type? Perfect.

Walk-up tattoos will be available throughout the weekend on a first-come, first-served basis. Show up, find an artist whose work speaks to you, and leave with fresh ink and a story to tell.

Show Off Your Ink

The festival will host tattoo competitions throughout the weekend, giving attendees a chance to show off existing pieces and compete for recognition. You'll also get to watch artists battle it out for "Tattoo of the Day" honors as fresh masterpieces are created right before your eyes.

More Than Just Tattoos

Even if you're not planning to get stabbed repeatedly by tiny needles this weekend, there's still plenty to see.

Browse art vendors, score unique merchandise, watch live tattoo demonstrations, and spend the day surrounded by some of the most talented artists in the industry. It's part art show, part rock concert atmosphere, and part tattoo convention all rolled into one unforgettable weekend.

Scientifically, studies haven’t consistently proven that full moons increase violence, crime, or psychiatric emergencies. But psychologically? The belief itself changes how people interpret chaos. When something strange happens, the moon becomes the easiest explanation.

And in 2026, there are twelve chances for people to swear something “feels off.”
