Just to be clear, Halloween weekend is this weekend. We have our Halloween Ball on Saturday and so many Halloween events are going on. If you plan on going out to the bars this weekend, you might look silly being the only person not in a costume so there's your heads up.

This weekend, both Bettendorf and Davenport will be holding their 2024 Halloween Parades. It's a great way to get some extra candy while seeing awesome floats from businesses and community members from both towns.

These are all of the details you need to know about both of the Halloween parades in Davenport and Bettendorf.

The Bettendorf Halloween parade is this Saturday, October 26, and begins at 6:30 p.m. That's okay if you're late for our Halloween Ball. We'll forgive you.

City officials say that due to the construction of The Landing, this year’s parade route is changing. The parade will begin at 18th Street from Bettendorf Middle School’s North Parking Lot. The procession will travel up 18th Street, turn right at Spruce Hills Drive, turn right on Middle Road, and finish in Bettendorf Middle School’s South Parking Lot (see route below).

Davenport Halloween Parade

The following day on Sunday, Oct. 27th is the Davenport Halloween Parade. Luckily it's in the afternoon so you shouldn't be too hungover after getting crazy at the Halloween Ball.

The parade will begin at 2 p.m. and will start at the intersection of 2nd and Pershing Streets. It will finish at Pershing and 3rd Streets. Before the parade kicks off on Sunday, you'll want to make sure you know about road closures whether you're attending or not. This will make sure everyone has a stress-free experience. Below is the City of Davenport's road closure map:
