If you're enjoying these warm temperatures with one day of snow every week, you're not alone. There is another chance of snow towards the end of the week that could impact a lot of Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois. The strength, track, and amount of snow this storm could bring are still up in the air (no pun intended) but it's better to be prepared than not.

The National Weather Service of the Quad Cities says there is a chance for some more snow to get dumped on Iowa, Illinois, Wisconsin, and the Quad Cities later this week. What isn't certain is just how much we will get but models appear to be giving us a stronger chance than we probably would like.

Officials from the National Weather Service of the Quad Cities that a lot of uncertainty remains with the exact track and strength of this snowstorm. Accumulating snow and mixed precipitation is possible in eastern Iowa and northwest Illinois thanks to this system. Officials say it's important to keep up with the forecast over the coming days as we get closer to when this storm could get to our area.

Our weather partners at KWQC-TV6 are thinking the same thing. If this storm shapes up to what we think it might be, areas in the north and west will see a good chunk of the snow.

We'll keep you updated as we get close to Thursday. Before Thursday, we will have a windy and wet Tuesday. We will be under a Wind Advisory from 9 a.m. on Tuesday to 2 a.m. on Wednesday.
