There is a mail thief among us in Illinois. That's the word from the United States Postal Inspector that issued a bulletin alerting everyone about a serial mail thief. The authorities say that there have been multiple instances of mass mail theft in the West Loop and Fulton Market neighborhoods of Chicago, Illinois.

What does the Illinois suspect look like?

The USPS describes him this way:

"Black male in his 30s, with a dark complexion and a stocky build, approximately 5' 8" to 5' 10" tall, and appears to wear his hair in dreadlocks".

It is believed that this suspect is not acting alone as the United States Postal Inspector says he is known to be accompanied by another man in his "late-20s, not pictured, who is described as approximately 5'7" tall, also with a dark complexion and a stocky build".

How can you report information and possibly claim the huge reward?

The government is offering a reward up to $100,000 for information that leads to his arrest and conviction. You can call 1-877-876-2455 (say “Law Enforcement”) and reference case number 4315597 with any information you have. Even one tiny bit of information that you think is trivial could lead to a big payday for you and less stolen mail for many in this part of Chicago.
