Illinois Woman Calls 911 to Get Her Coat Back, From Her Previous Arrest
This Illinois woman, really missed her coat. She wanted her coat back that was taken from her at her LAST arrest, so she called 911. What? KenoshaNews
The woman in question, Karen A. Kline was visited by police at the Country Inn & Suites in Kenosha, Wi where she was staying, She has dialed 911 SEVERAL TIMES for a non-emergency. When the cops showed up, Karen was hammered...big shocker, right?
Cops showed up at the hotel, and she was standing in the parking lot by her rental car flagging down the cops. Karen desperately wanted her coat back from the cops. The pervious time she was arrested, they took it.
OK KAREN, first off that's not a good reason to dial 911. Non-emergency...don't do it. Secondly when the cops showed up and Karen was obviously intoxicated. So....they searched her belongings. This didn't go too well...She had a joint in her hand. Oh, Karen.
Here's the list of charges against Karen after the search of her belongings...
- Felonies of calling 911 with false emergencies
- Possession of narcotics
- Misdemeanors of resisting an officer
- Disorderly conduct
- Possession of THC
- Possession of drug paraphernalia
Well, not a good idea to call looking for that damn coat. Must be a pretty cool coat.
So she jumps bail, has some weed in her possession and calls the cops looking for her coat.
