It's that time of year!  Actually, it happened a little while ago.  Where the Valentines candy goes on discount and the Easter treats start appearing on store shelves.  Pay no mind to the St. Patrick's holiday...give us some Cadbury Eggs and Peeps!

I still remember the first time I went to a Cold Stone Creamery.  We were on a vacation in the dead of summer.  The family and I needed a sweet treat that could cool us down.  We walked into the store and they were chopping, and flipping, and throwing all this delicious ice cream into the are and catching it in these incredible waffle cones.

There's only one thing that could've beaten our experience a few years back.  That would be somehow if they could include one of my favorite Easter snacks into the ice cream.

Have you heard the good news? Cold Stone Creamery has a new Easter treat just for Peeps nuts like you and me!

Easter is still two weeks out, but this should get you in the mood. An official Peeps-flavored ICE CREAM has arrived. They partnered with Cold Stone Creamery for it.

The ice cream itself is yellow, and tastes like Peeps. You can get it plain, or with whipped cream, blue sugar sprinkles, and an actual marshmallow Peep on top. And there's also a milkshake version.

They're available at Cold Stone locations nationwide for a limited time.

Cold Stone can be found in Coralville, Peoria, Dubuque and of course the Utica Ridge Road, Davenport location.

How Would You Rate Your First Beer Back in the Day?

We asked the Quad Cities what their first beer was. Then we got on BeerAdvocate.com to see check out some reviews. Here are the best and some of the worst ones I found...

What The Quad Cities Did For Fun in the 90's

Many times over the years, I'll be talking with friends about years gone by and I'll say "take me back".

Every generation goes through this, I assume. Looking back at a more simple time where responsibilities haven't set in and life seems fun. Opportunities are endless.

Let's go back to the 1990's to Wacky Waters, 50 Cent Beer night and revisit Mallards Mania!
