Enjoy Local Brews and Free Tunes At The Stompbox Anniversary Party
Summer in the Quad Cities is a time for hanging outside with friends. Drinking some good drinks. And listening to good music. Saturday (June 18) here is a place you can accomplish all that.
Stompbox 2nd Anniversary Party
Stompbox Brewing in Davenport is celebrating its second anniversary with a day filled with beer and music. The music starts at 5:00 with a lineup of:
- Smokefall
- Devour The Sun
- Pivots
- Monroe
- Rezinator
- Del Rockford
And all that music...is FREE. Yeah, that's right. 6 bands on a summer Saturday for free for you to enjoy. And without having to spend the money on a ticket, you'll have more to buy some of the awesome brews from Stompbox Brewing including a new special release.
There is one more thing needed for a perfect summer Saturday, and that's good food. Got you covered there as well. Stompbox's kitchen partner, Kitchen Brigade, will be cooking up some of their amazing food while you hang out and rock.
The Bands at the Stompbox Anniversary party.
With 6 bands on the day, there is going to be a little something for everyone, with everything under the rock umbrella.
Smokefall
The band Smokefall gets things started around 5:00. Who is Smokefall? Well, they call themselves "Rock Island Dungeon Metal". So get ready to get the party started early.
Devour The Sun
The band Devour the Sun is up next around 6:00 at the party. They have been making music for a couple of years now but are new to the scene in the Quad Cities as lead singer Chino recently made the QC his home. You won't want to miss these guys. Check out what you can expect from them with "Kingdom" below.
Pivots
Next up comes Pivots. "Quad Cities Punk Rock and Roll". Check em out.
Monroe
Folks familiar with Monroe have seen them play the Quad Cities at the MVF Battle of the Bands, open for 3 Doors Down at The Rust Belt and more. Come watch Gavin, Logan, Dalton and Josh rip it up on songs like "Tides" and more.
Rezinator
As the night is upon us, Rezinator will be taking the stage at the Stompbox Anniversary party. If you listen to the I-Rock 93.5 Local Stage Sunday nights at 8pm (which you should) you've heard tunes from Rezinator who call themselves "Sludgy riff-rock fueled by the nectar of the gods". That would be beer by the way. Remember, this all takes place at a brewery. So there will be plenty of nectar for all.
Del Rockford
Bring your friends Saturday and enjoy the brews, tunes and food. Check out their event page here.
