Seriously? We're back here so soon?

It is with a great eyeroll that I inform you that yet another truck has hit the Brady/Harrison clearly marked low clearance bridge.

It happened Thursday afternoon on the Brady part of the bridge. Here's what it did:

Oof. Debris was still on the ground:

This comes just over one week after another truck hit the bridge last Monday, July 18th. About a week.

With this incident, there's no word on injuries yet. But it sure looks like the truck isn't doing too well.

This was the one from last Monday.

WHBF reports that no one was hurt in that one.

Seriously, what must be done? Why am I telling you about this phenomenon twice in a little over one week? There are already flashing lights, bright yellow and black stripes, low. clearance. If you think you can clear it, if you have to merely question it, don't even try it. Do not pass go, do not collect $200.

The Brady part of the bridge isn't the only one with the munchies. Let's refresh on the one that happened on the Harrison part of the bridge last June to a hot tub truck:

So a word of caution to all truck drivers going through Davenport: this bridge is 11 ft, 8 inches clearance with absolutely no wiggle room. It will snack on your truck.
