There is nothing better than Christmas news on Halloween, right?

The Christmas tree is coming to Moline!

On Halloween, officials from the Vibrant Arena at The Mark announced details for the arrival of its annual Christmas tree in downtown Moline. Officials say that the tree is scheduled to arrive this week on Wednesday, November 2 at approximately 10:45-11:00 a.m.

Every year, the Christmas tree that goes up outside of the Vibrant Arena at The Mark in Moline is donated. This year, the Christmas tree is being donated by the Regency Condo Association in East Moline.

Even though the tree arrives this week, it won't be lit until mid-November

Officials say that the Christmas tree will contain approximately 30,000 lights and will be lit on Saturday, November 19, 2022. The tree will be lit during the annual Lighting on the Commons ceremony which is set to be held from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. on the John Deere Commons.
