One teacher in Illinois has a back-to-school ask of parents.

Students in Davenport and across the state of Iowa are returning back to school. With the return of those students, school zones go into effect for motorists.

Kids in Iowa go back to school on Friday, Aug. 23rd. Before kids go back to school, police departments across the state are warning parents about back-to-school photos and their dangers.

School is back in session in session and local authorities and agencies are reminding motorists when they can and cannot pass a school bus dropping off and picking up children.

Writing laws can be hard sometimes, just ask Iowa politicians. Schools can't start until August 23rd but that doesn't make sense especially when school starts on a Friday this year.

The school week isn't a whole 5 days for everyone in the country.
