Out With Tacos In With Pancakes At This New Illinois Restaurant
It's out with the old and in with the new at this once-popular location for tacos and margaritas. With high visibility and late-night traffic, people would think that would stay on the menu, but the owners of the location on River Drive in Moline, Illinois have made a change.
No More Senior Julios In Moline
Senior Julios at 2900 River Drive was a place for tacos and all sorts of fun drinks.
It was everything you would expect from a Mexican restaurant in the Quad Cities. And for those of us who frequent The Rust Belt in East Moline, it was a great place to stop for some food and drinks on the way to a concert.
River Drive is definitely a busy road during dinner rush and Senior Julios had great visibility. But now it will try to get people to stop inside in the morning.
Welcome To River Drive Breakfast Parlor
The old Senior Julios location, and Facebook page, is now the River Drive Breakfast Parlor location, and as you can see below, Facebook page.
The owners say "Get ready for delicious breakfast favorites, skillets, fluffy pancakes, and freshly brewed coffee—all served with warm, welcoming vibes by the river."
Judging by the comments...not everyone was thrilled with the change. But, if things weren't working and the restaurant wasn't profitable then they had to make a change to survive.
The River Drive Breakfast Parlor just celebrated its Grand Opening and is now ready for you to check them out any day from 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
