With the first pick of the 2024 NFL Draft, the Chicago Bears select, Caleb Williams.

With those words, Williams knew he'd be in Chicago for at least the next 4 years.  For Caleb and Bears fans, the hope is that he'll be leading the team much longer than just his initial contract and doing it with great success.

But before even taking a snap in the NFL Caleb signed a contract that paid him a $25.5 million signing bonus to go with his 4-year $39.49 million fully guaranteed contract.  With that kind of money, you don't need to be looking for a starter home.

There is a lot of hype around the rookie.  And he is just that.  A rookie.  So he will have his ups and downs.  But there is belief that the star quarterback can take the Bears back to a place they haven't been in 40 years.  Super Bowl glory.

When you have that kind of profile and that kind of hype, getting a downtown penthouse isn't ideal.  Sure the commute to Soldier Field is short.  But people will get in the building, the garage, and find you for selfies and autographs.  So instead, you find a very private house in Lake Forest, Illinois.

Lake Forest, Illinois

Lake Forest is a northern suburb of Chicago.  It's about 45 minutes away from Soldier Field. Without traffic.  Caleb could actually make it to Wisconsin to pick up some Spotted Cow faster than he could get to the stadium.

However, that drive is only made 8 times a year.  Plus a couple of preseason games and for Bears fans, hopefully a few postseason games.  The Bear's regular practice facility is in Lake Forest at Halas Hall.  A nice short drive from the new 13 million dollar home of Caleb Williams.

Glancer Magazine first reported where the Bears star would be spending his time away from the field.  Then Chicago Jay on Twitter shared more of the photos you can see below.

The property has direct access to Lake Michigan.

That is quite the view and quite the entrance.

But, not a big fan of this old color of wood throughout the home.

However, I'm sure we could survive with amenities such as a billiards room, home theater, arcade room, indoor hockey rink, and basketball court according to Bleacher Report.

Even the garage, or "rustic room" is fancy.  No word on what kind of cars he's keeping in there.
