Make Sure to Avoid These 9 Iowa Beaches
Something that everyone needs to check off their summer bucket list is a trip to the beach. While Iowa is a landlocked state, there are still plenty of options for spots for a fun beach day.
However, there are a few beaches here in Iowa that you should keep an eye on before checking out this summer.
The Iowa Department of Natural Resources routinely monitors the water quality at all of the State Park beaches AND other local beaches in the state.
Most of Iowa's beaches are open from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend.
