Did One Illinois City Just Revoke Its Ban on Nudity at Public Beaches?
Some prankster(s) in Chicago had residents in a panic after posting a very legit-looking sign on some public beaches over Labor Day weekend.
Things I Will Never Do
There are several things I will NEVER do in life, but three of my biggest no-nos are;
- Skydive
- Eat sushi
- Get naked in public
Call me no fun if you want to, but I'm terrified of heights and falling, my stomach hurts just thinking about raw fish, and I really don't need to see a bunch of naked bits flopping all over the place.

Did a Nude Beach Just Open in Chicago, Illinois?
For those who don't know, public nudity is banned in Chicago, so it makes perfect sense that many residents were concerned when they saw this sign popping up on some of the city's beaches last week...
This picture was taken at Loyola-Leone Beach in Chicago, but after reading some of the comments on this Chicago Alderwoman's post, the mysterious pranksters hit up a few other Chicago beaches as well.
Are There Any Nude Beaches in Illinois?
Nudism might not be my cup of tea, but I do respect that some people love the freeness of it, so I wanted to know; Are there any nude beaches in or near Illinois? The answer is yes.
According to an article from Cool Things Chicago, there are actually four beaches located not too far from Chicago that don't require swimsuits for soaking up some fun in the sun;
- Blue Lake Resort in Erie, Illinois
- Ponderosa Sun Club in Demotte, Indiana
- Lake O' The Woods in Valparaiso, Indiana
- Valley View Recreation Club in Cambridge, Wisconsin
