Chicago Bears Tickets Now Among NFL’s Most Expensive
You know I love the Chicago Bears. I always have and I always will, but paying over four hundred bucks to watch these guys feels like the worst kind of highway robbery.
According to StubHub, the Chicago Bears are averaging $405 a ticket for home games this season, the fifth most expensive seat in the entire NFL. Only the Eagles, Lions, Packers, and Raiders are charging more. Outside of the Raiders (who have a brand new stadium in Las Vegas, no less), what do those three teams have in common? Winning records and playoff appearances last year. The Bears in 2024 won 5 games and lost ten games in a row at one point.

Why Chicago Fans Pay More Despite Losing Seasons
It wouldn't be so bad if a place like Cleveland, which loses as much as the Bears, charged as much, but no, they know their team stinks, so they price their tickets appropriately, asking for a measly $158 per seat. I would be much more inclined to pay to watch football sadness in person for a fraction of the price if I could get in at a bargain basement Browns discount, but apparently, watching the Bears get pummeled comes at a premium.

What Fans Could Get for $405 Instead of Bears Tickets
The truth is, I'll still watch and yell at my TV from time to time, but $400 to sit in the cold at Soldier Field to invent brand new ways to lose year after year? Miss me with that. That's not fandom. That's masochism with a price tag.
