One of the good things that Illinois is famous for is food. I would call it a foodies' paradise with so many different flavors available. There are amazing chefs throughout the state, you really can't go wrong. Of course, leading the charge is Chicago.

Back in the early 2000s, my parents used to take these tours of Chicago neighbors. The trips would focus on the food and history of those communities. They really enjoyed going on them. The experience would give them opportunities to sample so many different styles of food.

Some of those tours would feature exotic types of meals. I'm more of a picky eater, so I would've gone hungry on an adventure like those kinds. I was hoping to someday find a food trip that features all the stuff I like including pizza, tacos, burgers, and beef.
