“Nice Car Bro”: Florida Man Punches Man For Complimenting His Car

A Florida Man has turned himself in after an assault that took place in the Lake Wells area of Polk County, Florida, in which he punched another driver in the face for a strange reason.

According to the Polk County Sheriff's Office, on Sunday around 5:45pm, the driver was headed down Tindel Camp Road on the way to the scenic highway, when John Sturgeon suddenly stopped his vehicle, approached the driver, and punched him in the face.

Deputies asked the victim what might've been the provocation of the attack, and the victim said he waved his hand at Sturgeon, a 53-year-old, and told him he had a nice car.

Sturgeon didn't take too kindly to that.

"I'm trying to tell you nice car bro! I like your car!" the victim can be heard saying in dash cam video released by the Polk County Sheriff's Office. The video showed Sturgeon walking from his Dodge Challenger back to the victim and back to his car after punching him.

Polk County Sheriff said they went to Sturgeon's home in Winter Haven, but he wasn't there, and so they issued a warrant for his arrest, and after his road rage video went viral in the area, he turned himself in.
