Those three factors determined that Wisconsin's capital, Madison, is the 7th happiest city in America.
Madison residents love their community, feel safe, and feel their economy is good enough to keep them happy.
Another Wisconsin city made this list but a lot further down than Madison. While not at the bottom, Milwaukee landed at the 131st happiest city out of 182 major cities. Yes, Milwaukee has some work to do.
The happiest city in America is Fremont, California. Actually, the top 3 happiest cities are all in California.
