Nothing personifies one of my favorite phrases "here for a good time, not a long time" quite like fair food. Cholesterol and our digestive systems can just take that L and move on.

Iowa State Fair has announced their list of 60 new fair foods for this year and it's quite the menu. Fried foods, sugary foods, combinations that you can only get away with at the fair.

Last year, vendor Winn & Sara’s Kitchen won Best New Food at the fair with their Bacon Cheeseburger Eggroll:

Now, Winn & Sara’s Kitchen is back in the running for 2025 with a twist on that eggroll. And they're up against over 60 other contestants.

Here's the fair's breakdowns of the Best New Food options up to win this year, along with which vendor you'll find them at:

  • Bacon Chicken Ranch Eggroll: A crispy, golden eggroll packed with tender chicken, bacon, white cheddar and drizzled with their famous ranch. (Winn & Sara's Kitchen)
