Enjoy Free Fall Fun At The Milan Harvest Festival This Weekend
Nothing wraps up summer quite like a harvest festival.
If you've been ready for fall-scented candles and football on TV like me, you've got a great way to spend your weekend.
Milan Harvest Festival is going on now through September 1st.
Plus, this year, it will feature the Quad Cities' first-ever drone light show on August 30th, with over 200 drones set with LED lights! In a classic summer finale, fireworks will be Sunday night at 8:15 p.m.
After the parade at 10:00 on Saturday morning, catch Battle of the High School Marching Bands on Saturday, where the winning band out of the 8 local entries will win $4,500! You can also enjoy carnival rides, events like a pet photo contest, art contest, a bags tournament, a disc golf tournament, stein hoisting competitions, Bingo, and more!
There will be plenty of live music and family-friendly events all weekend at Camden Park (2701 1st St East in Milan)
Getting into the Milan Harvest Festival is free, but if you want to do carnival rides, it's $25 on Monday and $30 per day on Saturday and Sunday. You can get tickets once you get there or at the Hy-Vee in Milan.
Live music acts are regional favorites you've heard before:
- Dirt Road Rockers
- Panic River Band
- Lynn Allen Band
- Dietz Solis Band
- ORD Rocks
Another reason to get yourself out there: all proceeds go directly to youth programs and initiatives across the Quad Cities.
You can keep up with more from the Milan Harvest Festival this weekend on their Facebook page.
