Valentine's Day is less than a week away but one winery is ready to make a deal.

We all have stuff that lurks around after a relationship ends. Maybe it's one of the ten hoodies you stole from him. Maybe it's the hair straightener she left at your house. Maybe it's a gift that they gave you for your last birthday. Really, it can be painful to look at those things and after a while, you just have to get rid of them. Just in time for Valentine's, Chateau Ste. Michelle is ready to help you do just that.

The winery has a program called 'the Great EXchange', where you can get wine in exchange for your ex's stuff.

How The Great EXchange Works

You need to submit a picture and backstory to Chateau Ste. Michelle about the item and you might be picked to 'exchange' it for a gift from the winery. I think the closure part comes in after you've taken a picture of the item, sent in the backstory, and you should now get rid of the thing.

A study found that the item we keep the most from our ex's are photos (definitely did a camera roll cleanout after my last), which is followed by gifted clothes, accessories, jewelry, and cards or letters.

If you're ready to join The Great EXchange, you can submit your picture and story here. And also tell us about it in the app chat.
