These Are The 12 Best Employers In Illinois, According To Workers

We all want to work for a good place. 

It would be so helpful if we could interview employees of a potential workplace before we sign on. Some places have a good vibe with everyone supporting each other and enjoying work, other places everyone is just dragging by but friendly because they're all suffering together.

Forbes has released it's list of the best employers by state for 2024, according to workers.

To come up with this, they teamed up with market research firm Statista and surveyed over 160,000 workers in companies that have at least 500 employees.

The workers who were surveyed were asked "how likely they were to recommend their employer on a scale of zero to 10".

Northwestern Medicine has locations all over the Chicagoland area.

10. University of Wisconsin Hospitals and Clinics Authority

UW Health has 154 locations and clinics in Illinois.

9. Edward Jones

Edward Jones has financial advisors all over the state of Illinois.

8. CRBE Group

CRBE Group has a big office doing commercial real estate in Chicago.

7. Northrop Grumman

The aerospace and defense company has a center in Rolling Meadows, Illinois.

This software company has locations in Chicago.

Apple has several locations in the Chicagoland area, including at least 9 stores in Illinois.

It wasn't just ranking current employers either. The workers that Forbes and Statista surveyed for this were also asked to rank other employers that they had worked for within the past two years. They also shared throughts on organizations that they were familiar with either through their industry or that they knew of through a family member that worked for them.
