Iowa’s ‘Corn Queen’ Hailey Whitters Has Teamed Up With Corn Flakes

Caitlin Clark isn't the only Iowan to have her face grace the front of a cereal box! Shueyville, Iowa-native and country singer Hailey Whitters has announced a new collaboration with Corn Flakes.

ABOUT HAILEY WHITTERS

It's no secret that Hailey grew up here in Iowa. She's from the small town of Shueyville, located in Johnson County. Hailey is incredibly proud to be from the Hawkeye State, and much of her music is a reflection of her Iowa upbringing.

When she was 17-years-old, Hailey made the move to Nashville to pursue a career in country music. She spent years writing songs and performing gigs around town, all while working odd jobs to pay the bills. In 2019, Hailey released a song called "Ten Year Town" about the struggles of trying to "make it" in Music City, and it was that very song that put her on the country music map.

"Ten Year Town" was featured on Hailey's 2020 debut album The Dream, and she has since released a deluxe edition of that album, as well as two more full-length records. Her song "Everything She Ain't" was a big hit on country radio, which helped nab her the ACM Award for New Female Artist of the Year in 2023. She continues to travel around as an opening act for some major artists, but also does her own headlining tours, too!

Because of Hailey Whitters' love of all things Iowa, she has been affectionately nick-named "The Corn Queen." Heck, that's the name of her most recent album, as well as a track on the album! It only makes sense that she would team up with an iconic cereal brand that has corn in the title.

UPCOMING SHOWS

Hailey Whitters' 12-date 'Corn Queen' Tour will officially kick off on September 4th in Nashville and visit Midwest cities like Omaha, Kansas City, Minneapolis, St. Louis, and Chicago. There is one Iowa date on the calendar: Saturday, September 20th at Val Air Ballroom in West Des Moines. You can purchase tickets for that show HERE.
