Watch: Passenger Flips Out At O’Hare, Throws Monitor At Staff
You don't need to be a seasoned traveler to have witnessed bad behavior at the airport, especially in today's world where tempers are short and public meltdowns seem to happen on a near-daily basis.
I've seen flight attendants berated, a check-in clerk threatened, and a complete on-board meltdown by a fellow passenger who began shouting to everyone in the airplane "We're all gonna die!!" over and over before being dragged off the flight by Las Vegas police officers.
I've seen all that and more...and I haven't even been on an airplane or in an airport since 2019. I guess things can still get pretty testy, based upon a viral video of a woman's actions at O'Hare airport at the end of July.
Many Of The Comments On The Video Of A Woman's Meltdown At O'Hare Refer To The No-Fly List, And How This Woman Just Got Herself Moved To The Top Of That List
There's just one problem with that theory: O'Hare's monitor-throwing, meltdown woman has not been caught yet.
According to published reports, Chicago cops are still looking for the woman who was captured on video having an altercation with Frontier Airlines employees that resulted in computer equipment flying through the air.
Footage of the incident was posted on July 30 by another traveler, who told Storyful the woman had missed her flight and then “lost it” after staff didn’t allow her to board. In the video, the woman climbs over a baggage conveyor belt and into the staff area and begins grabbing and yelling at a Frontier employee.
Enough descriptions of what happened. Take a look for yourself:
Chicago Police say that the woman also chucked a cellphone, striking one person, then she hit another nearby woman in the leg. After all that, she took off and was gone. No arrests have been made.
